Postdoctoral Fellow

Cass Center is proud to offer a rigorous and comprehensive clinical supervision experience through our postdoctoral fellowship program.

Postdoctoral fellows in clinical psychology at Cass Center are highly trained professionals who have completed their doctoral degrees (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in psychology and are now engaged in advanced, specialized training under the supervision of our licensed psychologists. This fellowship provides an opportunity for fellows to refine their clinical competencies, deepen their expertise in our areas of specialization, and prepare for independent licensure and practice.

Clients who work with a postdoctoral fellow benefit from the collaborative insight of both the fellow and their supervising psychologist, ensuring a high standard of care informed by dual perspectives.

Our fellows have undergone extensive clinical training, including multiple externships in diverse mental health settings and the successful completion of an APA-accredited, full-year clinical internship. At Cass Center, postdoctoral fellows practice under a permit issued by the New Jersey Board of Psychological Examiners, allowing them to provide services under supervision.

Although state regulations prohibit the public advertising of permit holders and, as such, our fellows do not have individual profiles on our website, we are committed to transparency and hold great confidence in the skill, professionalism, and clinical acumen of these individuals. Many of our fellows are invited to remain at Cass Center as licensed psychologists following the completion of their fellowship.
