What is holistic psychology?
Holistic psychology looks at the whole person—not just symptoms. We consider the connection between your thoughts, emotions, body, nervous system, relationships, environment, and overall wellbeing while incorporating evidence-based psychological care with appropriate integrative approaches.
What is mindfulness-based therapy?
Mindfulness-based therapy helps you become more aware of your thoughts, emotions, body, and patterns without immediately reacting to them. These skills can support emotional regulation, stress management, self-awareness, and healthier responses to life’s challenges.
What does nervous system regulation mean?
Nervous system regulation involves learning to recognize how stress shows up in your body and developing practical ways to return to a greater sense of safety, balance, and control. We incorporate regulation skills into therapy when appropriate.
What does trauma-informed care mean?
Trauma-informed care recognizes that past experiences can influence how we think, feel, relate, and respond to stress. Our approach prioritizes safety, collaboration, choice, and respect while honoring each person’s unique experience.
Do you offer EMDR?
Yes. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based approach that can help people process distressing or traumatic experiences. Our clinicians determine whether EMDR is appropriate based on your individual needs and treatment goals.
What is Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy?
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) combines psychotherapy with ketamine treatment provided by a separate, appropriately licensed medical provider. The Cass Center does not prescribe or administer ketamine. Our role is focused on the psychological components of care, which may include preparation, therapeutic support, and integration before and/or after treatment, as clinically appropriate.
Does The Cass Center prescribe or administer medication?
No. The Cass Center does not prescribe or administer medications. Our clinicians provide psychological and therapeutic services and do not function as medication prescribers. If medication is part of your treatment plan, we can coordinate care with your existing medical or psychiatric provider when appropriate.
Do you work with high-functioning professionals?
Yes. We work with professionals, executives, leaders, athletes, and other high-performing individuals who may appear to have it all together while experiencing stress, burnout, anxiety, relationship challenges, or difficulty slowing down. Therapy can be a space to build resilience, clarity, balance, and sustainable performance.
Do you provide corporate wellness services?
Yes. We provide customized wellness workshops, trainings, and speaking experiences for organizations. Topics can include stress management, resilience, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, burnout prevention, emotional wellbeing, communication, and healthy workplace relationships.
